You’ll always see plenty of Chevy SS and ’32 Fords at local car shows but the classic Cadillac sightings are few and far between. These two were spotted at a show in New Rochelle, NY this past weekend – 1954 Cadillac Ser. 62 convertible and 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible.
This completed 1955 Cadillac Eldorado restoration helped place our team on the map back in our FEN Enterprises days. Known as “Bad Girl” because of the challenges faced, she gained international acclaim when the Mick Jagger chauffeured the rest of the Rolling Stones across a closed-down Brooklyn Bridge to open their Bridges to Babylon world tour.

Bulbous and bold with lots of gleaming chrome and decadent luxury aptly describes the styling of 1950s era Cadillacs. By 1957, Cadillac had long-established its reputation as America’s premier luxury automobile and the Eldorado model line was the pinnacle of that opulence.
The low-production Eldorado model line consisted of the Biarritz (convertible) and Seville (hardtop coupe). Today, the convertible top is the more popular choice among classic Cadillac owners, however, the Seville has a very loyal following as well.
This completed 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville restoration project by the CPR team serves as a wonderful example of why these cars remain so popular today. Audacious and elegant, this stunner turns heads whether on the street or the show field.

In Milwaukee, WI, (2015), their already acclaimed 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville took home not only the prestigious First Place – Senior award but also earned the judges’ nod for Best of Show.
The next year in Las Vegas, NV that very same Eldorado Seville won the prestigious Senior Wreath award given to only the very best of the best classic Cadillacs entered for judging.

When formed in 1984 by Elsa Mauer Nicodemus, FEN Enterprises operated out of a spare room in a 1740’s farmhouse. Although the primary business activity was selling parts and restoration supplies to classic Cadillac owners, there was an opportunity to expand into the hands-on business of restoring the old cars.
It didn’t take long for FEN to establish a reputation as a premier restorer and the company flourished. It’s completed projects won many major awards and earned plenty of attention from media and news outlets.
Today, the team operates under the Cadillac Parts & Restoration name and continues to produce award-winning examples of restored Cadillacs. Their new restoration facility is located in Poughkeepsie, NY and can be reached for restoration inquiries by calling (845) 462-5959.
